Order of Pages shown in top Feature Slider

Hello guys,

happy new year 2023! I’m trying to sell a site with your template to a customer of mine.

I need to change the order of child pages shown in the top feature slider on frontpage.

I didn’t find any solution to do so by now.

I tried giving the pages order numbers under site attributes – but unfortunately that didn’t change the order of appearance.

Example: http://dev.heiko-metallbau.de/en/welcome-to-heiko-metallbau/

At the moment the order of appearance is “More products” – “Processing techniques” – “Metal on building” – “Mechanical Engineering”
I want the order like this:”Mechanical Engineering” – “Processing techniques” – “Metal on building” – “More products”

How can I achieve this?

Slider Desc line breaks – HTML?

Hi All,

We inserted some quotes into the slider descriptions.
Unfortunately the line breaks are not taken into account.
I noticed that any HTML inserted is getting filtered out and the content is only displayed as one huge inline text.

Is there any way to format the text shown in the sliders?

Is it possible to add an image overlay (logo) on the image in the feature slider selection? If no, I can embed my logo into the image used for the sliders but then my next question is it possible to edit the dark overlay that the slider feature has over the image so it doesn’t ‘hide’ my logo?

hopefully anyone can help me; i want to display my logo at the middle of the slider; I know that i can simply display the logo at the images itselfs, but if i do that the logo slides with the slider.. I want the logo to stay in the middle during the slide process! Is there any simple solution for this problem?

How can I create a slider on a page other than the Home page? I’d like to create a slider with four images. I’d like to name each image so that the name of the image appears when the user hovers over the image with the mouse. Feature Slider Homepage

I’m having an issue with the Feature Sliders (Images) that on a desktop view, once you hover over the image the animation (slide transitions) stop playing. Also the arrows on each side once I click on those they don’t work and they don’t change it to the other image/slider. Also is there a way to have CSS added to increase the size of the arrows? They’re too small to notice.

Feature Image on Slider – sizing?

How can I decrease the size of the Feature Image on my slider pages so that they display clearly on the homepage?
I’ve tried changing the size of the file, etc but can’t seem to figure this out.
So right now Slider 2 is supposed to be a poster for our Welcome Back Carnival but only a portion of the poster image is visible.
I can’t seem to make it smaller or size it correctly to fit.

Need help formatting buttons on sliders

I recently installed the Construction Field theme on my WordPress site because I’m building a new demo site for my company. I know a little CSS but I’m not proficient at it by any means.

I would like for BOTH the buttons on the two main sliders to go transparent green on hover. I was able to change Button One like so:

.btn-primary.btn-reverse:hover {
background: rgba(0,255,0,0.2);
}

But the other button goes solid blue on hover, and I can’t find where to change that!

The site’s not public yet, so I can’t include links. But any general advice would be appreciated.

How can I change the speed of the Slider on the Home page featured section?

How do I set which slide screen the Slider starts on? In the customize section, I have them set as 1, 2, 3, 4 but it seems to be stopping on and staying on slide 4 which is not what we want it to do.

Hello, How do I change the words which are appearing overtop the image on the home page at our in development site (http://sandbox2.rossiniclub.org/2/). Specifically the words “Education Base” and the second line “The modern Educational WordPress Theme” which is above the button I have made say “Performance Schedule”

Also, how do I get the, what I guess is the slider, to actually change the pictures on the home page? Please help, I can not figure this out! Thanks.

Slider speed setting has no effect

Hi, we have a slider set up with three slides, using the custom selection. Pagination speed adjusts the speed of the actual transition, but the slider speed, which I presume should effect how long each slide is stationery for, seems to have no effect at all. This is quite urgent, my client wants to slow it down, which should be simple.

Updated Slider image not displaying?

I am attempting to upload a new slider background image at thetester.a2hosting.com and cannot figure it out. I have uploaded the new image doing the following:
Appearance > Customize > Header Options > Header Image > Add New Image.

The image I uploaded is showing in the sidebar that it was successfully uploaded but it does not appear on the live site in the slider. Am I doing something wrong? I am somewhat new to this so I do apologize if it is a simple solution but it seems to me like the image should be appearing.

When I first installed the Read More Pro theme with dummy content, the slider worked. I’ve started uploading my own content and it no longer works. Acts the same in both Chrome and Safari. I’ve checked all the settings. I have categories set. To no avail. I created a support ticket and have not yet gotten any confirmation it was received. If anyone has advice, I need to set my blog live and I am out of ideas as to why the slider isn’t functioning. If I set it to ‘2’ slides – it displays two slides stacked. If I set it back to ‘1’ slide I just see one with no transition.

Blurry Featured Slider

I’m using the following settings in my wordpress Media settings:

Set thumbnail size : 500 * 280
Set Medium size : 690 * 400
Set Large size : 1080 * 530

I also tried this:
Set thumbnail size : 500 * 280
Set Medium size : 690 * 400
Set Large size : 840 * 480

The problem is, my featured slider’s main image is still blurry/pixelated. Could you please let me know how to fix this.

It’s the first thing the reader looks at and I don’t want it to be ugly.

Slider Image Issue on Mobile Devices – Image Not Scaling

Corporate Plus Pro is an amazing template; thank you for creating! I am experiencing one central issue and cannot find a fix: When proportioned to the theme’s recommendations, the background slider photo does not appear properly on a mobile user’s actual device, including iPhone and iPad. The in-Wordpress preview of this responsiveness looks great, but does not mirror a user’s actual experience. I believe the image is remaining the same size on mobile devices (not scaling at all) and is appearing beginning with the upper left corner of the image.

I have attempted all fixes and recommendations, including removing/disabling all plug-ins and updating to the latest WP version tested using this theme, but to no avail. Please help.

My slider text references a specific item in the photo and this item needs to be seen on all devices, as it appears in the in-Wordpress preview. Site is: http://www.ryandeal.com.

Get rid of category names in slider

Hi all, I currently have a slider on my front page and I would like to remove the category titles (i.e. ‘travel’ or whatever) above the post titles that display in the slider. I haven’t found a way to do it yet. Is it possible, maybe via CSS?

Related to that, I also link to category pages in my primary navigation menu. When you click through to the page, at the top it will say ‘Category: Travel’ or similar. Is it possible to hide just the “Category:” part? I haven’t found a way to do this yet, but maybe with CSS?

Slider photos showing up at low quality

Hello,

We bought this theme, and we have some problems with the slider images, as shown here: http://www.dnevna-doza.com.hr
The images are uploaded on high quality, but show up as low quality trash featured images.

After we installed the widgets, some photos are bigger and some are smaller, so the theme does not crop them automatically, is there any way to make them look like on the original page?

Slider no longer working

I have been using SuperMag for over a year and I just recently moved my site to a new domain name and I cannot get the slider to appear again. I have set the slider Customize>Static front page and have verified I am using the correct page there and at Settings>Reading, and have enabled proper category in the >Category Slider Selection. I also noticed the WordPress stripe no longer shows at the top of the page when visiting the site. My site is at http://ncoguide.net, any clue?
