The post Featured Image renders a blank space in posts appeared first on Acme Themes.
I use WP’s Featured Image and this is causing the following problem:
I list the last 6 posts in the Home page and the featured images render normally. However in the single posts the following code is included below the post title:

Of course the image doesn’t show up because of the ccs class but an ugly blank space is displayed in between the Title and the post content.
This seems to be caused by the following code at: /wp-content/themes/supermag/template-parts/content-single.php line 29:
?>

<?php the_post_thumbnail( $supermag_single_image_layout );?>

<?php

The thing is, there is a problem with Featured Images that didn’t happen previously. The picture I chose as Featured Imaged, always was shown up when I shared the link in Social Media. That’s very important, cause I always adapt each Featured Image for the previsualization in Social Media. But now, when I share the link social media, the picture that shows up is the one I insert in the text box (with no cropped at all) and several images that have nothing to do with the particular post. How I can solve this?
I think is just a matter of configuration, cause this has not happened to me before and I didn’t use any plugin for this previsualization in social media.
I will be very grateful with any help. Thanks in advanced.

The photos that I uploaded were at least 1280px, which I think is sufficient enough to cover the size requirements. I just don’t know why it became blurred in the acme theme.

However, the plugin doesn’t work with the built-in Related Posts feature for Single Posts.
It drops the title in but not the src of the image:

Any assistance with getting this working would be awesome. Otherwise, I will have to disable the option from your theme and create something from another plugin to work.
Thank you,
